Back in the Limits

Lift

  • took off bases and got Chuck to take off the bottom 2 rows of holes on both sides to lower lift and be below 18" (now highest point at rest is 17")

  • Pick-up Options (2) *need to check weight/balance

  • Spinner

  • began assembling: chain on large sprocket with threaded beams attached to scraps of c-channel which will be used to pick up cubes (3 spokes)

  • gearing is 12:84 (1:7)

  • increased from 1868A's ratio of 36:84 which clicks and skips sometimes

  • Belt

  • collected parts

  • will begin assembly at next meeting

  • Side note: in free time add a long c-channel all the way across the width of the robot and move the small pieces straddling the chassis rails forward for stability

  • Program

  • Only labelled the motor arms in Configurations

  • Still needs to be finished so currently, in progress
