both single and triple versions failed

Program

  • programmed the arms in separate while loop on one joystick (normal one is while(1 != 1){ } )

  • test = right arms raises and drags left arm causing gears to severely skip and the arms to stop every couple of inches

  • SOLVED: right arm motor was high speed. It has been changed and a missing screw on the left pivot was put in. Arms still skip sometimes at higher speeds but arms lift consistently and are level

  • arms are currently reaching about 4', if we remove the top level we are at 3'

  • need to combine into one loop with everything at next meeting for two joysticks

  • Pick-up

  • finished assembling the chain and sprocket roller

  • test = picks up at ground level, however it can't raise the weight beyond the bars being horizontal to the ground = FAIL

  • We need something different

  • OR possibly we could take off the top level and make it an 8-bar linkage and see if it can lift it

  • Lift

  • major skipping, possible fixes:

  • try to take off top level and see if we can use the same pick-up <-test ASAP

  • add rubber bands to arms increase potential energy to help battle gravity

  • Chassis

  • still needs supports added across the width
